Stephen Malinowski’s Music Animation Machine

If you enjoy classical music, you may want to check out Stephen Malinowski’s Music Animation Machine on YouTube.  Here he has various classical pieces by many of the old masters, and has set them to a scrolling visual animation of the music.  Each instrument has its color, and the patterns range up and down the screen along with the sound.

This is very nicely done, and no wonder:  Malinowski is a musician and composer himself, and has posted some of his own work via his Music Animation Machine.  It’s instructive to the beginning music student, and a great way to listen to some good music while you’re at the computer… even if you don’t watch the mesmerizing animations.
